Elliott Yamin has been traveling promoting his new album and single on radio, television and the internet, and he even called one of his fans on the phone! Elliott's given wonderful shout outs to his fans, and shared a moving, heartfelt biography of his experiences and his excitement about his upcoming debut album on March 20. Elliott also gave us a tantalizing taste of his much anticipated album with his teaser single "Movin' On," which debuted and stayed at #1 on internet radio! 'Seven weeks ago, Elliott Yamin spend a third and final week at number one on UU-BRU Internet Radio with "This Christmas". A week later his song dropped completely off the chart, due to the removal of all seasonal hits after the holidays. This week he picks up exactly where he left off as "Movin' On", the highly anticipated first single from his upcoming debut album enters the chart directly at number one.
"Movin' On" is the 583rd song to reach number one on UU-BRU Internet Radio since January 1978. Of those 583 songs only 17 have debuted at number one..Even though Elliott Yamin hasn't released his debut album yet, he has remained in the public eye for nearly a year following his journey on American Idol 5. Elliott Yamin has scored three number one hits on UU-BRU Internet Radio including "Moody's Mood For Love" (#1 for 9 weeks) and "This Christmas" (#1 for 3 weeks).'

More great news from Elliott.. 'Happy Valentine's Day! Hey Everybody! Just wanted to know if each and every one of ya'll would be my valentine!....YES!!!! I hope all is well and wanted to wish everybody a happy VD! I can't even begin to express how excited I am to know how much ya'll are feeling "Movin On"! I actually wrote that w/Ollie Goldstein and DJ Lethal right before we left for the AI LIVE Tour last summer. Just to clear up some of the confusion by the way.....Although "Movin On" has been well-received, our main intent w/this song was to simply treat it as a "teaser" so to speak...it will be on the album for sure, however we only intended to release it to DSP's (digital service providers)
only. ie.... yahoo, aol..etc...My first single entitled "Wait For You" should be released to radio within the next 2 weeks! I'm on pins and needles waiting to share this song w/ya'll!!...I recorded it w/the dynamic and immensly popular duo of Stargate and Taj Jackson while I was in New York this winter. It's a strong, heartfelt ballad about losing love, and not being able/willing to let it go. I think it reflects how many of us have felt @some point or another in our lifetime. With that said, I'm finally done recording my DEBUT ALBUM!...WOW, I still can't believe I'm saying that!...and I couldn't be more proud of how dilligent, unified, and efficient every single person involved worked to complete our project!
