People magazine is buzzing and breaking news about the American Idol star, Elliott Yamin: 'Sing That Funky Music, Elliott! Heads up, Elliott Yamin fans! The Idol star will release his debut album on March 20, with his first single, "Movin' On," available on iTunes on Feb. 13. "I'm excited to get my music out to my fans," says Elliott in a statement about the CD, which he helped write and produce. "And I'm thrilled to be back in the studio working on original music." Also look for Elliott..to hit the road when he heads out on a solo tour sometime this spring or summer.' Elliott's incredibly loyal fanbase was recognized. An E-fan writes: 'Movin On is to die for! Yes, I had the privilege to hear it. A little bit RB/Soul/Retro. Great radio play and appealling to all audiences.' Nice! Now, that's what I'm talkin bout! Yeah! Finally, Mediafiends weighs in on the 'New Elliott Yamin Photo Shoot! Hot! Hot! Hot! For anyone who couldn't see why yaminions everywhere fell in love with not only this man's vocals, but his looks as well....take a peak. I promise you won't regret it.. there's a new best makeover in town! We all remember his unflattering buzz cut, and interesting facial hair preferences, which were soon overshadowed by a voice so soulful and magnificent that he could have worn a big bird suit and it wouldn't have mattered. However, with his record deal signed (Hickory Records) and two distribution deals, it was time for Elliott to go that extra mile and get cd cover ready. Let me tell you, he is ready! His new single is due out by the end of February, and with his natural curly locks, and a new killer smile, nothing will be holding him back. Naturally, most fans would have bought Elliott's cd make over or no make over, but I don't think anyone is complaining. Go check out the pictures..You won't be disappointed!' Way to go, Elliott! Fantastic news! Gorgeous images for the album cover shot by photographer, Nick Spanos. An album and a single on the way. Outstanding! Congratulations! We're so excited! We can't wait for your funky bluesy soul music!

..from E-Train: 'I can't breathe. He's just too fine!!'
